지난 수십년동안 행동경제학은 경제학을 혁신시켜오고 있다. 경제학이 그동안 가정하기를 희망하였던 차디찬 인간이 아닌 때때로 실수를 하며, 다른 사람들을 생각하는 현실의‘인간’을 경제학에 다시 돌려놓았다. 경제적 행동에 대한 기존 경제학의 인식을 바꾸는데 크게 기여함으로써 행동경제학은 복잡한 경제현실을 보다 잘
설명하는 성과를 나타내고 있다. 본 강좌에서는 이와 같은 행동경제학의 주요 성과를 소개하고 다양한 예제와 함께 설명함으로써 인간행동에 대한 이해를 보다 확대시키도록 한다.
교과목해설(영문)
Over the last few decades behavioral economics has
revolutionized economics. It had done so by putting the human back into economics, by recognizing that people sometimes make mistakes, care about others, and are generally not as cold and calculating as economists have liked to think they are. The
results have changed the way we look at economic behavior. This course introduce the important ideas in the behavioral economics with some major applications to expand the understanding of human economic behavior.
