현대 경제는 국가 간의 무역, 자본이동 등 국제 교류가 활발히 일어나고 있는 글로벌경제이다. 이러한 경제 환경 하에서 세계경제의 흐름을 이해하고 이에 잘 대응하려면 국제거시경제에 대한 이해가 필수적이다. 본 과목에서는 개방경제 환경에서의 거시경제학의 이론과 이의 응용에 대하여 학습한다.

The economy has been rapidly globalized nowadays as the volume of international trade and capital movement has been dramatically increased. To cope with the global economic environment, we need to understand how the economics works in the global context. In this course students study theory and
its applications on the open economy macroeconomics.
